Dear Friends,
It's hard to believe that it's already December and the Christmas season is here! This is my third Advent season to celebrate with Cornerstone and it truly is my favorite time of year with our church family! I hope you have had a chance to learn about our theme for the Advent sermon series. Click here for more info.To help you and your family prepare for this season, the Cornerstone book shelf has some excellent resources for adults and children. Special thanks to Craig Akridge for keeping these resources stocked for us. Remember, they are free! Some of the Christmas books on the shelf you should check out are:

  • The Gift of Christmas by Kent Hughes (Children’s book)

My family will be using for the first time, Prepare Him Room: Celebrating the Birth of Jesus Family Devotional. I'm also currently reading a new work by Sinclair Ferguson called Child in the Manger: The True Meaning of ChristmasI do hope that some of the resources can be a blessing to you and your family this Christmas. Also, not to get to far of ahead of ourselves, but in 2017 there are some exciting retreat opportunities for most everyone in our church.
