Pastor's Corner - Welcome Jessica Zambie!
Dear Friends,Each week we pray in worship for God to hear our prayers and to answer them. Often times we simply forget to rejoice and praise God when He does answer prayers so let me make sure we do that right now! Rejoice with me as God has answered our prayer and raised up a Youth Coordinator to join our staff team! Please welcome Jessica Zambie.Chris and Jessica Zambie have recently moved to Huntsville from Ohio. They found Cornerstone several weeks ago and immediately connected with our congregation. Jessica has a strong background in ministry as she served on staff with Campus Outreach at the University of North Alabama in Florence. Campus Outreach is a ministry to college students on college campuses that seeks to reach students with the gospel and train them to become mature followers of Christ. Campus Outreach was founded by Briarwood Presbyterian Church in Birmingham.While on staff with Campus Outreach, Jessica discipled women in the faith and gathered folks to the ministry. Upon moving to Huntsville, Chris and Jessica were praying about ministry opportunities in a local church. God has answered that prayer and Jessica is excited to come along our students and families to coordinate youth activities and help disciple our young ladies. She will be serving in a part-time capacity and will begin in a few short weeks.Please make sure you meet Chris and Jessica and please be in prayer for her as she takes up her new call at Cornerstone.See you Sunday!Your friend and pastor,Wilson
