Newsletter March 21, 2025
Dear Cornerstone Family:
As you can probably tell, if you have visited the church campus in the past week, the parking lot and playground are practically finished! Praise God from whom all blessings flow! However, there is still plenty of landscaping to be done as the project enters the beautification phase.
This new campus improvement has afforded us ample parking to accommodate our weekly activities. We also have the great blessing, as Pastor Brian announced last week, that the playground is now officially open! It has been fun to see families and children enjoying this new space!
One of the features of this new campus improvement project was to add an accessible entrance to the rear of the building. This will allow those with mobility needs to park very close to this new entrance and come right into the building. Below you will see a campus map that highlights all of the new parking as well as our new accessible entrance and the companion parking spaces for this new entrance. Please take a moment to study the map to understand how everything flows and works. The leadership is asking that the accessible parking spaces near the entrance be reserved for those with need. If you have any questions about this, please see one of the deacons.
We are about three weeks away from Holy Week. April 13 will mark Palm Sunday. We will have regular services this day with the children singing at the beginning of the second service. On Good Friday, we will have our traditional Good Friday Communion Service at 6:00 pm. On Easter Sunday, we will have our normal worship service times at 8:30 am and 11:00 am with a fellowship brunch in the FLC following the 8:30 am service. Due to larger than normal holiday crowds, we are planning on having a sign-up for each service so that we can accommodate everyone.
Our sermon series for Holy Week will be Psalms of the Messiah. We will study various Messianic Psalms as we celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
See you Sunday!
by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
