Dear Friends,
2017 is shaping up to be a year of firsts for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama. Our women just got back from their first ever women's retreat and were challenged and encouraged on resting in Christ. Our men will go on their first men's retreat in about six weeks. We will send out our first short-term mission team this summer. These are all wonderful firsts that God will use to extend His kingdom and grow His church.I want to encourage all men, 18 and up, to consider joining us on March 31 and April 1 as we go to Camp Maranatha on Lake Guntersville to be challenged and to fellowship. John Hinson, Shep Park and I will engage our men regarding The Core of a Godly Man. We will explore the foundations of who and what God has called us to be as men and the tools He provides us on how we strengthen that core. Interestingly, you will get to hear from three generations of men who are striving to love God and walk with Him.Please go ahead and make time in your schedules as this will be a wonderful time to unplug and connect with other men in the church.
