Pastor's Corner - Prayer

Dear Friends,
One of the greatest privileges we have as the people of God is the ability to pray for one another. Each week our church bulletin and newsletter highlight people and things for which we can be praying. I want to highlight a few of those here.First, we have some brothers and sister in our congregation who need healing. The Lord brings healing in many ways, but He calls us to pray for those who suffer. Please remember our friends who are afflicted and in need of the Lord's healing hand.Second, we have some church retreats coming up. I love retreats. They are great times to be refreshed in the Gospel and to enjoy extended fellowship with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Please be in prayer for the upcoming youth and women's retreat. Pray for those attending. Pray for the speakers. Pray for revival.Last, please continue to pray for your church leadership. Thank you for how you support and encourage your officers. We have many leadership and vision decisions ahead of us and we ask that you would pray that God would give us wisdom. We need it!This Sunday we will continue in our new sermon series on Revelation. We will also celebrate the sacrament of communion. Pray that God would prepare our hearts for the Word and sacrament. See you Sunday!Your friend and pastor,Wilson
