Pastor's Corner - Welcome Paige McClure

Dear Friends,
We have been praying that God would raise up new staff to come and serve alongside our members and staff team and today I'm excited to announce to you that the Session has offered - and Paige McClure has accepted  - the position of Children's Ministry Coordinator at Cornerstone.Many of you know Paige and her husband Kevin from the Huntsville community. She comes to us experienced in children's ministry and as a mom devoted to her family. She will be working part-time in this position as she is also busy raising their five children, ages 6 to 16.The McClures have visited Cornerstone several times over the past few months and are excited to make Cornerstone their new church home. In God's providence, Paige was the Children's Ministry Coordinator at the Church at Hampton Cove that met in our building about 15 plus years ago. Paige officially joins the staff on January 28th.  She will be easing into her role over the next few months as her family gets settled in at the church. While at Auburn God called her to children’s ministry. She attended Southwestern Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas where she received her Masters of Christian Education. She met her husband Kevin while there so returned to Huntsville to marry him in 1999. She served in children’s ministry at The Church at Hampton Cove until God led her home to care and minister to her five children: Luke, Kara Beth, Evan, Addy and Hudson. She enjoys reading, scrapbooking, planning vacations for her family and anything that takes her outdoors.
