Pastor's Corner

Dear Church Family,

God ALWAYS keeps His promises! The LORD was showing out on Wednesday evening with this double rainbow!

The rainbow is a wonderful covenant sign!

I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth. When I bring clouds over the earth and the bow is seen in the clouds, I will remember my covenant that is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. And the waters shall never again become a flood to destroy all flesh. When the bow is in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth.” God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant that I have established between me and all flesh that is on the earth.”  (Genesis 9:13–17 ESV)

Each and every Sunday we sing and proclaim the promises. Ultimately God's covenant promise has been sealed by the finish work of Christ on the cross. The sign of this covenant is the Lord's Supper that we celebrated this past Sunday and we will do so again on August 14th!

Please read the entirety of this newsletter. There is a LOT of information about upcoming ministry opportunities. There are also new prayer requests and new people to pray for.

I'm looking forward to our gathering on Sunday to be a community of Christ's followers who worship, grow, and serve together to glorify God in Huntsville and throughout the world.

See you Sunday!

By His grace and to His praise,

Pastor Wilson
