Dear Church Family and Friends,

The Lord is good and His steadfast love endures forever and ever!

Coming up real soon, May the 7th, Cornerstone will celebrate something very special. We will be ten years old as a particularized church! Of course the history of Cornerstone goes back several years before 2013, but May of 2013 is the year and the month that Cornerstone was organized as a particular church with elders and deacons by the presbytery. Let us rejoice in God's faithfulness to us by allowing us to celebrate this milestone!

Below you will see an announcement of the many ways we will celebrate on May 7th. Additionally, we are planning other ways this year in which we will celebrate and remember God's faithfulness to us these past ten years. These ideas include a prayer service and a hymn sing. These events will be planned at a later date in the year once we have a better understanding of the construction and remodeling time-line.

Also, this Sunday we are going to begin a four-week sermon series. These sermons will focus on some of the themes we find in Deuteronomy 7:9 which reads, "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations." How do we continue as a faithful, Christ-centered, Gospel-loving, Bible-believing church for the next ten or even 100 years? ... God has shown us and told us how to in His Word. Therefore, we are going to be exhorted and encouraged from His Word to stay faithful to the mission and vision that God has given to us. I'm looking forward to remembering and being reminded of these things with you.

See you Sunday!

by His grace and to His praise,

Pastor Wilson
