Pastor's Corner - The Time Is Here
Dear Friends,
For several years now, we have been praying and preparing for the moment that is now upon us. We have longed for Cornerstone to have a permanent home that we can call our own where we can continue in the mission and vision to which God has called us.
And now that time is here. This Sunday we are launching ABOUNDING: in Christ and for the city. This initiative will last for five weeks and will culminate on Commitment Sunday, March 1st. The purpose of ABOUNDING is help us meet our goal of building a new church home in downtown Huntsville. This Sunday you will learn all about how you can be apart of ABOUNDING.
The church officers have spent many hours and days in prayer and planning over this initiative. We believe God is calling us to move forward, trusting that all we do will be for His grace and for His praise.
We encourage you to make plans to join us every Sunday during this season as we will grow through generosity, hear testimonies and learn more about the plans to build a new church building downtown. This Sunday will be a special time as we have a joint Sunday School to hear from different church leaders and a presentation by our church architect to reveal the conceptual design of the new proposed building. Information will also be handed out to everyone to assist you in praying, planning and preparing on how you can be a part of ABOUNDING! Abounding in Christ.
