Pastor's Corner - Our Church Family

Dear Friends,
What a wonderful Lord's Day it was this past Sunday as we celebrated our first Sunday in our new facility. The Church is certainly not about brick and mortar, but God's goodness extends to His people in many tangible ways and one of those is by providing places and spaces for His people to gather together and worship. Let us not cease to give Him thanks and may we continue to grow and mature as a church as we seek to be "a community of believers devoted to the Apostle's teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
One of the more amazing things that I observed while moving into our new facility was how God's people came together to really make this place a home for our church family. In Exodus 36-39, the Lord raised up Bezalel and Oholiab to build the temple and make all the necessary items for worshipping Yahweh through the tabernacle ministry. I thought about this account in Exodus a lot these past few months as I saw the Lord raise up craftsmen (and women), artists and many of you with various other skills transforming our new facility into a house of worship. In this process, we became a church family.  We got to know new people and we observed the gifts and skills that God has given to our church. It was such a blessing to watch the Lord's work during this transition.
Many thanks to all of you for the many hours of labor that you put in to get our new facility ready for worship and discipleship. I'm looking forward to many more opportunities for us to carry out our vision and values of worship, discipleship, care and missions.
