Pastor's Corner - Good Neighbors

Dear Cornerstone family:This past Sunday we had the first meeting of the Cornerstone Good Neighbor Team. One of the questions we are asking right now is "How can we be a good neighbor as we prepare, Lord willing, to move downtown?" It is part of the mission of our church to "serve together in Huntsville for the glory of God", so how can we continue to do that as a church? There are three main categories that the team will be working on:
  • Strengthening partnerships with local ministries we already support
  • Developing relationships with our future downtown neighbors (businesses, neighborhoods, etc.)
  • Developing connections and outreach opportunities in relation to downtown events near the property.
Within those categories, there are a lot of ideas and potential ministry opportunities! There are certain opportunities that the team will pursue in the short-term, but there are also opportunities that will be in the long term category as we prepare to move downtown. Would you pray for wisdom for the team as we begin these efforts? In due time, you will hear of opportunities to be involved as we seek to serve in Huntsville for the glory of God.See you Sunday!Pastor Brian
