Pastor's Corner - Easter at Cornerstone

Dear Friends,
It's hard to believe it is already March! Spring is close, daylight savings time starts in less than two weeks and the trees on the mountains are beginning to bud. New life is about to begin. With that, comes perhaps the most joyous time in the life of the Christian church, Easter! This year at Cornerstone we are going to focus on Easter for the entire month of April. We will have a five-part sermon series from Isaiah 52-53 entitled Rejected, Wounded and Exalted. This will be a rich time in Isaiah's prophecy as we observe how the One who would suffer would be the One who will rise again as our risen Savior! Please plan to join us each Sunday in April as we explore these rich themes of Easter. Make sure you check out the schedule of Easter services below. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.  (Isaiah 53:5–6 ESV)by His grace and to His praise,Wilson
