Pastor's Corner - Celebrate!

Dear Friends,This past Sunday Cornerstone celebrated another milestone in calling the Reverend Brian Russ to become the first Associate Pastor. Praise God from whom all blessings flow! I am thankful for his wisdom, leadership and commitment to our growing body and the Session is thrilled to have him come serve alongside us for years to come. Join me in celebrating God's faithfulness and telling Brian, Audrey, Eowyn, Leah, Alli and William how much we love them and are thankful for them. This coming Sunday, October 21st, we will celebrate another milestone as we gather together for the first time to use the new church property downtown for fellowship, music and barbeque. Please join us and please be sure to pray and dream as we gather there and ask the Lord to build His church for His glory! One of the things that I am hopeful for as we pray about moving downtown is to begin to pray and plan on how we an be a good neighbor in the downtown community. There are opportunities for outreach with area businesses, neighborhoods, our partner ministries and a housing tower right across the street. If you have interest in serving on a Good Neighbor Committee, please let me know so that we can start praying, planning and serving in our new community.See you Sunday morning ... and Sunday evening!Your friend and pastor,Wilson
