Pastor's Corner

Dear Friends,
This week we finished up our final Foundations for the 2018 Spring semester. It was a wonderful time of fellowship and learning. We are looking forward to starting this ministry back up after Labor Day. Foundations is a great opportunity for us to grow in our relationship with Christ. What an encouragement it is to gather in the middle of week and be strengthened in our faith together! If you weren’t able to attend, we’d love to have you join us next fall when we start back up. Thanks to ALL the many volunteers who made this program happen. My family was greatly blessed by this ministry. As Foundations ends, we are looking ahead to a wonderful time of worship and celebration as we anticipate Holy week. On Sunday, March 25th, our children will lead us in singing on Palm Sunday. On Good Friday, March 30th, we will remember our crucified Lord during a Good Friday Communion service at 6pm. And on Easter Sunday we will celebrate the resurrection and the wonderful power of God that He worked when He raised our Lord from the dead, which He also works in us who have been raise from spiritual dead to life (Ephesians 1:20).  After the Easter service we will have light refreshments and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall.As we anticipate this important week in the life of our church, we will move from Revelation 3 to Revelation 4 where we get a sneak peak into the throne room of heaven and we see our risen and reigning Lord, high and lifted up, exalted in the heavenly realms. He is worthy of all our praise! Let us prepare our hearts.“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”  (Ephesians 3:20–21 ESV)Your friend and pastor,Wilson
