Dear Cornerstone Family:

We are looking forward to Vacation Bible School starting up on Monday!

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to hear God's Word proclaimed and enjoy times of worship, crafts, recreation, and of course, snacks! The theme of this year's VBS is "Summer Seaquest", as the children will be learning about God's mercy to Jonah and the One who is greater than Jonah, Jesus (Matthew 12:41).

Each year at VBS the children learn about missionaries and mission organizations that Cornerstone supports. This year we will have the following special guests at VBS:

This year we will be a collection to support MNA Disaster Response, specifically by putting together school supply kits to help disaster affected areas. The MNA Disaster Response Warehouse is located a couple of hours away from us in Rome, GA, and the kits will go there to be stored until there is a need. If you would like to join the children in donating items for the school supply kits, you are welcome to drop them off during the week by Wednesday. There is a flyer below that has a list of supplies to donate.

As we look forward to this week together, you can pray in the following ways for VBS:

- Pray for all involved to marvel at the mercy of our great God

- Pray for children to grow in their faith in Christ

- Pray for strength and wisdom for the many adult and student volunteers

- Pray for our various missionary partners that are participating this week

Women's Summer Bible Study - "Entrusted to be Invested" is a six week study on 1 Timothy published by the PCA Women's Ministry beginning the 2nd week in June. See below to register or if you have questions contact Heidi at heidi@cornerstonehuntsville.org.
