Dear Church Family and Friends,
Christ was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our sins. But then ... He was raised from the dead! Where, O death is your victory?! Where is your sting?! Hosanna in the highest!
There is so much to think about, so much to remember, and so many reasons to worship when we think about the death and resurrection of Christ. Join us this Good Friday at 6:00pm, as we remember the sacrifice our Savior made for us on the cross ...
And then, come back Easter morning as we celebrate that Christ is risen! He has risen indeed!
I'm looking forward to celebrating these amazing truths with you!

Nursery Volunteers Needed! - We need help on Sundays to care for our children in the nursery. If you are a member and would like to volunteer please sign up HERE. You may also email Christina Wendorf if you have questions at christina@cornerstonehuntsville.org
Holy Week Schedule- Good Friday Communion Service tonight at 6:00pm. Easter Sunday Services on April 9th at 8:30 and 11:00am. If you haven’t already signed up for the Easter service your family plans to attend, please do so HERE
Flower the Cross - We will continue the tradition started last year of decorating a large cross Easter morning on the lawn in front of the sanctuary. Please bring cut flowers either Saturday afternoon (water will be available to leave them in), or Easter morning, and arrange them in the cross. This will be a beautiful symbol to remind us of the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord and to show the beauty of the cross to our congregation and neighbors.
Easter Brunch - Please make plans to join us for food and fellowship at our Easter Brunch this Sunday, during the Sunday School hour, in the FLC. We still need a few volunteers to sign up to bring a dish. Please sign up HERE
Church Office Closed - Monday, April 10th, in observance of Easter.

Women’s Ministry - Join us for a Spring Shower to honor our expectant mothers and benefit HPRC on Sunday, April 16th, from 2pm-4pm, in the Fellowship Hall. RSVP by this Wednesday, April 12th, to heidi@cornerstonehuntsville.org
10th Anniversary - We hope you will make plans to join us Sunday, May 7th, for a celebration of Cornerstone’s 10th anniversary! Special guest preacher Stephen Estock will be here. There will be a joint Sunday School for everyone where we’ll share stories of God’s grace over the past 10 years. The celebration will conclude with a picnic lunch at 12:30pm at Monte Sano State Park. More details to come!
