Dear Church Family and Friends,
HOSANNA! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!
Next week begins Holy Week. We have a great week of worship lined up. Please see all the activities below. We will look at the death and resurrection of Christ and how union with Him is the greatest blessing there ever was.
This past week, we announced some exciting news: a special welcome to Chris Moody who will be our new Assistant Pastor candidate. Chris is graduating from RTS in Jackson, MS and will be moving to Huntsville this summer! Please be in prayer for Chris as he finishes up his course work and as he makes the transition to Cornerstone and Huntsville. Praise God for His provision.
Please continue to pray for on-going efforts with the renovations and the parking lot expansion. As with all construction projects, these things take time as the engineers and architects do their work. Specifically pray for wisdom for the different committees working on the projects. Pray for the staff as we begin to make adjustments and plans for ministry during the construction. Please pray for the City to give us favor as we pull permits and seek to connect to Newport Drive for ease of access.
Finally, each week I link a few different articles and other resources that I think would be interesting and helpful for our church family. Below, in Wilson’s Weekly, is a link to a very somber and serious podcast. This podcast interviews the father of Walker Mongomery whose son took his life due to a new evil scheme of Satan called sextortion. Brian Montgomery was interviewed on Fox News. I think it would be helpful for everyone to listen to it, but especially parents and teens.

FOUNDATIONS - Our spring semester concludes this Wednesday, March 29th. Join us for a meal at 5:30pm. Discipleship opportunities for all ages are offered from 6:15 to 7:15pm. A nursery is provided. RSVP HERE
Missions Lunch - Join us this Sunday after the second worship service in the FLC for a cookout to support our mission teams going to Joni & Friends and Yakama this summer. Bake sale items are still needed! Sign up HERE.
Holy Week - Good Friday Communion Service, April 7th, at 6:00pm. Easter Sunday Services on April 9th at 8:30 and 11:00am, with an Easter Brunch fellowship in the FLC at 9:45am.
Women’s Ministry - Save the date for a Spring Shower to benefit HPRC on Sunday, April 16th, from 2pm-4pm, in the Fellowship Hall.
Cornerstone’s 10th Anniversary Celebration - Save the date for Sunday, May 7th. More details soon!
VBS - “Summer Seaquest” is June 5th-8th. Registration is open! Click HERE to register.

Abounding - Thank you to everyone who has participated in the Abounding initiative. Whether for the past three years, or more recently, the Lord has used your generosity to fulfill our mission and vision. The initiative concludes on March 31st, however, we invite you to continue to give as we begin new projects and plan for future ones. Final results of the initiative will be shared later this spring. Plans are underway to begin renovations and parking expansion this summer. More information will come on that in the next few months.
