Dear Church Family and Friends,

There are a lot of exciting things happening this Sunday at Cornerstone!

First, we get to "Fall Back"! Don't forget to set your clock back before you go to bed Saturday night. Of course, everyone is welcome to come early to church to pray and fellowship but we will follow the clock and enjoy some extra sleep.

Second, we will finish up our study of the Beatitudes this Sunday. It has been wonderful to explore these together and be drawn closer to Jesus as He teaches us how to be His disciples. This last Beatitude is a tough one as Jesus reminds us, “A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you.” (John 15:20) "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake", Jesus proclaimed in Matthew 5:10. Let's find out how to apply this to our lives this Lord's Day.

Finally, this Sunday we will welcome two very special guests to Cornerstone, Tionna Tillequots and Connie Yallup with Sacred Road Ministries. Sacred Road has been a ministry partner of Cornerstone for over 10 years! I have had the privilege of serving on the board with SRM for many years. It is a special privilege for us to host Tionna and Connie because they grew up as small children in the ministry and are now serving as adult leaders on the Yakama Reservation. Please join us during the Sunday School hour as we learn more about their ministry and the impact the Gospel is having on reservations out west.

See you Sunday!

by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
