Dear Church Family and Friends,
One of the things I do not tell you enough is how wonderful our staff is at Cornerstone! We are so blessed to have so many men and women with amazing gifts that the LORD uses to equip the saints in our community. Please join me in thanking them and praising God for them.
Almost a year and a half ago, the Lord brought Emily Boggs to be our first full-time Communications Assistant at Cornerstone. She has faithfully served our church by creating and maintaining the weekly bulletin and many other communication needs of the church. Emily has been a constant professional and has helped us advance the mission that God has given Cornerstone in a significant way.
But now the LORD has a new calling for Emily. In January of 2025, Emily will have her first child and be a new mom. At the end of this year, Emily will stay home to be a full-time mom. Of course, we support her and her husband Jared in this decision and we are grateful for their calling to shepherd their children.
Cornerstone is now beginning the search for a new Communications Assistant. If you know someone who is great with computers, administratively detailed, and wants to work on a great church staff, please pass along the job description (click here). The Lord has always provided and He has often provided through connections with our congregation. Ideally, this person would not be a Cornerstone church member.
Please join me in thanking God for Emily and her service to Cornerstone. Let's pray for her little one and her family. Also, please pray for the Lord to provide someone to fill this position by the end of the year.
See you Sunday!
by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
