Dear Church Family and Friends,

If you have been to Cornerstone lately, we are still very much a construction zone! This past week the contractors began excavating the east parking lot on the south end. Some of you may recall that this is where the costly and very complicated water detention system is going to handle stormwater that is then slowly leached into the city drainage system.

Because of this ongoing construction, first, thank you for your patience! Second, please use caution around equipment and follow the safety signs and cones while entering and exiting the premises.

Let's all continue to pray for this massive project. It has been longer and more complicated than expected. As you pray, pray for safety. Pray for our leaders who are guiding the project. And pray for our neighbors— the notice, the dust, and the disruption have been a challenge for them for sure.

Your leadership is doing a wonderful job of troubleshooting and making adjustments during the process. We have even had to make changes to the existing plumbing that was original to the property in the 1960s!

Lord-willing, the project is scheduled to wrap up near the end of November. That date is assuming no further delays.

See you Sunday as we resume our study of The Beatitudes!

by His grace and to His praise,

Pastor Wilson
