Cornerstone Prayer Requests

Pray for church members caring for family - Lora Abernathy, Diana Akridge, Bryan Gassaway, Rick McCann, Randy Petcher, Bill and JoAnn Sneed, Kyle Mosier, and Susan Dupré.

Pray for healing -Mary Allen Junen, Matthew Lawrence, Phil Freeze, Gail Ricks, Bob Boerner, Beverly Park, Elena Lewis, and Cal Brown.

Pray for Geneva Cooper, and the Cooper family, with the loss of her mother, Mrs. Peggy Cook, this week.

Pray for our homebound friends - Ruby Petcher and Betty Baldwin

Pray for our expectant mothers - Amy Eckenrode (July), Andrea Mace (July), Ashley Collete (August), Christina Hall (August), Sami Pottorf (August), Denia Dillon (August), and the Kawell adoption.

Pray that the Lord would raise up an assistant pastor to serve at Cornerstone.

Announcements

FOUNDATIONS - We will not meet this Wednesday, March 15th, due to spring break for many families in our congregation. Dinner and classes will resume Wednesday, March 22nd. Our spring semester will conclude on Wednesday, March 29th. 

Daylight Savings - Don’t forget to spring forward an hour tomorrow evening!

Landscaping Work Day - Join us TOMORROW, March 11th, from 8am-12pm to work on spring landscaping maintenance around the church. Contact David Hoover at ddhoover53@gmail.com with questions.

Ladies Tuesday Morning Bible Study - Will not meet this week, but bible study will resume next Tuesday, March 21st.

Mom & Kids Playdate - Wednesday, March 15th, from 10am-12:00pm, at Cove Universal Playground in Owens Cross Roads. Email ashley.h.colette@gmail.com for more information.

Missions Fundraiser Lunch - Join us for a cookout fundraiser to support the Joni & Friends and Yakama Missions Teams on Sunday, March 26th, after the second worship service, in the Family Life Center. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be the main event! Please RSVP HERE by no later than Wednesday, March 22nd. If you are unable to attend but would like to donate to the summer mission trips, you can do so through the RSVP form.

Holy Week - Good Friday Communion Service, Friday, April 7th, at 6:00pm

Easter Sunday Services, Sunday, April 9th

  • Worship Services at 8:30am and 11:00am

  • Easter Brunch in the Family Life Center at 9:45am

VBS - “Summer Seaquest” will be June 5th-8th. Volunteers are needed! Email paige@cornerstonehuntsville.org to sign up.

RYM - Registration is open! The conference is July 10-15, and is for students 8th grade and up. Registration deadline is Sunday, March 19th. Email brian@cornerstonehuntsville.org to sign up and receive the registration link.
