Ski Retreat

Who: High School and Junior High Students (Junior High students can come only if a parent accompanies them)When: Everyone needs to meet at the Church Office on Friday, Feb. 20 at 3:30 PM. We will return Sunday, Feb. 22 around 3:00 PM.Where: Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center (91 North Lakeshore Drive Lake Junaluska, NC 28745 is the address of the place we will be staying) and Cataloochee Ski Area (1080 Ski Lodge Road, Maggie Valley, NC 28751 is the address of the place we will be skiing).Cost: $200 + money for two meals on the road. Covers Lodging, Food, Equipment Rentals, Lift Tickets, and Complimentary 1 hour ski lesson.How do I register? Fill out the registration form below!Packing List and Other Info:- Bible, Notebook, and Pen- Long underwear for skiing- Non-cotton pants, jacket and gloves for skiing- Sunglasses and/or ski goggles- Small backpack for ski day- Appropriate clothes and shoes for snow/mountains- Shampoo, soap, toothbrush, etc...- Towel, washcloth, etc...- Snacks- Trash bag to put dirty/wet clothes in- Money for two meals on the road- Beds and blankets will be providedWhat Not to Bring:- Do not bring a bad attitude - Students will be expected to be in submition to adult leaders during the trip.- Do not bring innapropriate reading material or music.- Do not bring any alcohol, tobacco (including chewing tobacco), or illegal narcotics.  If you are found to be in possesion or under the influence of any of the above, you will be sent home immediately at your own expense. Pre-Register Now!
