Pastor's Corner - Welcome Mike King

Dear Friends,

I'm excited to announce to you that Mike King has been hired as the new Student Ministry Coordinator at Cornerstone. Mike is coming to us from Clanton, AL where he is a member of Grace Fellowship Presbyterian Church (PCA). He is a graduate of Southeastern Bible College with a degree in Bible and Theology and a minor in youth ministry.

Mike was a youth intern for two years at Evangel Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Alabaster, AL while getting his degree from Southeastern. Most recently, he has served as the Camp Director of Raleigh's Place in Clanton. Raleigh's Place is a camp for foster children that seeks to teach and show the love of Christ to the fatherless.

Mike is excited to come be a part of the Cornerstone family and to work alongside the existing student ministry volunteer team. He will join us near the end of October and begin settling into Huntsville. He also plans to enroll part-time in Birmingham Theological Seminary in pursuit of a Masters of Divinity.  I would ask you to be in prayer for Mike as he makes this transition. Please also consider having him over to dinner so that he can get to know our families.

Please join me in praising God for providing a Student Ministry Coordinator and continue to join with me in prayer as we ask the Lord to provide a Children's Ministry Coordinator to serve our families.
