Pastor's Corner - VBS Success!

Dear Friends,We have had a GREAT week of VBS at Cornerstone! Special thanks to our director, Hart Barham, and the almost 30 volunteers who loved our children well and pointed them to Christ and His timeless parables. I was so thrilled to see our building come alive with singing, crafting, learning and fellowship. Over 60 children participated in our VBS program this summer. Please be in prayer for them and their families as they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.I'm also thankful for all who helped collect donations for the New Hope Children's Clinic.  The New Hope Children’s Clinic provides hope, help and healing in order to positively impact the lives of the children in our community, as well as to promote and improve students’ health and academic capability. This year Cornerstone had the privilege to partner with New Hope Children's Clinic to provide 40 boxes of personalized items to give to children in need who come into the clinic. I'm very proud of all the children and volunteers who donated to provide for this ministry in our area.Then the disciples came and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.
