Pastor's Corner

Dear Friends,

What a blessing this past Sunday was as we installed new officers in our church! I'm thankful to the Lord for raising up these brothers. Please be in prayer for the officers and staff of the church - that God would give us wisdom and direction in all that we do.

I wanted to report to you some very important actions made by the Session this past week. The Strategic Planning Committee made two recommendations to the Session that were unanimously approved. These recommendations were: 1) to engage Matheny Goldmon Architects + Interiors, LLC to begin a conceptual design for building at our downtown property location and 2) to contract with Generis, LLC to lead us in Capital Stewardship Campaign for the purpose of raising funds for a new facility.

These are exciting times! There are still many more decisions to be made, many more committees to be formed. Stay tuned for upcoming opportunities for you to be involved in some way. Also, please be patient as there are many more details to be worked out and a strategy to be put in place. We are hopeful that our architects and campaign consults will be wise guides to help us navigate the process that is ahead of us.

All that to say, please pray! “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.”  - Psalms 127:1 ESV

See you Sunday!
by His grace and to His praise,

Wilson
