Newsletter | February 17, 2023

Dear Church Family and Friends,

Several weeks ago we announced that our trusted Ministry Assistant, Geneva Cooper, would be "retiring" so that she could attend to the important ministry of caring for her family. This announcement set into motion a search for us to find a replacement for her position. In this search we asked for your help and the Lord was pleased to use contacts within our congregation to find someone to fulfill this important ministry position. This week, Lauren Hill began work as our new full-time ministry assistant.

Lauren is originally from Knoxville, TN but has lived in Huntsville for over 15 years. Lauren and her husband, Jamie, have five children. She is a member of The Rock church where she serves in children's ministry. Lauren comes to us with ample administration and ministry experience. Please join me in welcoming Lauren to our church staff and be sure to stop by and introduce yourself.

This Sunday we will celebrate new members joining our church, as some will receive the sacrament of baptism, and many children will join the church that went through the communicants class. Please be in prayer for our new members and join me in welcoming them.

See you Sunday!

by His grace and to His praise,
Pastor Wilson
