Cornerstone Family,
June is coming right around the weekend, which means Vacation Bible School and our summer missions teams are gearing up for takeoff! This weekend, our Warm Springs team is headed to Oregon to serve with Sacred Road Ministries. Please pray for them as they travel and serve that God would work through them and in them for his glory and the good of those they serve on the Warm Springs Reservation.
Vacation Bible School starts this Monday and is always a sweet time of discipleship and outreach to our community and the children of Cornerstone. This year, the theme is “The Scottish Sleuths.” Kids will be searching for the hidden hero! Pray they find Jesus and that their hearts are compelled by his love to follow him and worship him. It is a fun week of teaching, singing, games, and crafts!
The Quiet Waters Family Retreat is June 7-12. This retreat serves families who have members with disabilities who come for rest and refreshment. Campers are able to experience access to a variety of activities that are hard for them to enjoy in day-to-day life. One of these is hiking with the Luke 5 Adventures Team. Several of our church members serve with this team. Luke 5 is equipped with special hiking chairs to make the trails accessible for those with disabilities. Primary caretakers are also given time to rest, learn, and grow during retreat. Many of the people from Cornerstone will serve as buddies for campers who have disabilities, which allows their parents to get much-needed rest and care.
Please be in prayer for the Warm Springs Mission team, the Quiet Waters team and campers, as well as Vacation Bible School over the next few weeks. It is a blessing to send these teams out to serve and welcome our community in for VBS for the sake of the gospel and the glory of King Jesus.
To God be the glory for the great things he has done, is doing, and will do.
See you Sunday!

Flourish
On Saturday, May 16, seven ladies fellowshipped together over high tea at Jenny Roberts' home. This tea, called Flourish, was an opportunity for seasoned single ladies to get to know each other. The fellowship was so sweet and delightful! Thank you to the other ladies who provided goodies and served.
